Welcome to Gay Palm Springs. Over the past
several years, the Palm Springs area has become a preferred gay
retirement community on the west coast. Current estimates are that
approximately 40% of the permanent population of Palm Springs is
now comprised of GLBT residents. Our Mayor, Steve Pougnet,
is a Gay man, and we also have a Lesbian councilwoman, Ginny Foat
and a Gay city councilman, Rick Hutcheson .
